New forms, new earrings

I have been experimenting with new forms for my jewelry. I’m completely inspired by working in three dimensions- making more sculptural work than flat. I feel as though it takes bead work to a different plane- moving through space, like the Frank Gehry Guggenheim museum in Bilbao Spain. I’m incorporating wire into the beadwork to create depth and dynamic angles. I’m just beginning. Just learning. Starting with earrings is a good way to try a technique, honing in on an idea until it’s ready to launch as a full fledged cuff or necklace.
